Ask a questionQ & A
I need help and strength regarding the situation with my daughters. Will God help me?
Thank you for sharing this personal situation. Please note that I am praying for you even though I cannot imagine the pain and discomfort you must be enduring.
The comforting news is that God can relate to your experience and also wants to help you through it.
God has experienced the suffering and even death of his own son. At the moment on earth we believe there to be millions of people who are God's own children. Yet these people ignore God and turn away from him.
God also has felt the pain of having a child suffer; Jesus is God's son and he suffered and died for others. God knows the pain you are feeling and wants to comfort you through it.
God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us (1 John 4:8-12)
God wants you to draw near to him so he can comfort you. Can I encourage you to turn to God today, through his son Jesus Christ, so you can know God's peace? The reason Jesus died was to take the punishment for the wrong things we have done, so that we can be forgiven and given new life through the resurrection. Turn to God through Jesus Christ.
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you (James 4:8)
Jesus, God's Son, was separated from God in his death, so that we can become God's children and so that we never have to experience being separated from God again.
