Ask a questionQ & A
When will my Mother come back home?
Thank you for asking this personal question. I am sorry to hear that your Mother is not currently at home and that this is obviously causing you hurt.
Without knowing why your Mother is not at home it is hard to answer your question effectively. People can leave a household for many different reasons and every situation is unique.
It is important that you do not blame yourself for your Mother not being at home. If you feel it is your fault or you are to blame it is clear that you want to make things better as you are asking this question. It is impossible for you to reconcile with someone who is not there. You can however forgive yourself and them and also ask forgiveness from God for any wrong that you may have done.
God has made a way for us to be right with him. Jesus Christ came to earth to live a perfect life and die in our place for our sins. Jesus made a way for us to be right with God so that we never have to be alone.
God the Father wants to be close to you; closer than any living thing. He is a comforter and refuge for people in times of greatest need. Turn to God today and ask him to comfort you.
The Bible says: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea (Psalm 46:1-2).
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24)
Jesus talks about how people sometimes have to leave family members for him and how they will inherit much in the life to come if they have put their trust in him:
"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life". (Matthew 19:29)
If you are at peace with God through Jesus, I also want to encourage you to pray for your Mother. I am sure there are some serious reasons why she is not at home, but God can help. He may even restore your family all together.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Prayer will also help you not to worry, but be filled with peace from the God who cares for and loves you.
In summary, there may be many reasons why your mother is not with you. However, it is important that we seek God and pray for our loved ones. Let us allow God to be our comfort during our difficult times.
