Ask a questionQ & A
I'm interested in angel card readings but am I opening the door to evil spirits? I feel uneasy but am interested in knowing more.
Thank you so much for your honest spiritual enquiry about card readings and spirits.
The Scriptures are so very clear, therefore my advice is simple and easy for you:
Do not get involved in angel card readings. At best this is a scam to part you from your money and at worst it is demonic deception which will trouble you further in your life.
"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12)
Allow me to be frank: why are you even considering this? Your help and guidance should come directly from the Lord. Should He decide to send angels to your aide, and if you are a Christian, then that is His choice and not yours. You do not need to go to someone else; you have direct access to God the Father, the Lord Most High, through the Lord Jesus Christ the Lord of all hosts. When you have access to the Most High through the commander of Lord of Hosts, then would you go to anything lower?
What you are considering sounds like a demonic ensnarement and you are right to feel uneasy.
In summary, open your Bible and pray to God. All the wisdom and guidance you need is in the Bible, and all sources of aid come from the God of the Bible directly.
Here are some more Bible Verses for your further consideration:
- Leviticus 20:27
- 2 Corinthians 11:14,15
- Acts 16:16-18
