Ask a questionQ & A
I'm a young person who's a Christian and want to tell everyone about Jesus before it's too late for them. Where do I begin?
Thank you for sharing your excitement about God. It is encouraging that you think God is amazing and that you want to tell people about him.
Firstly, I want to encourage you that God is in control! He knows all people and wants them to follow him. We do not have to have nightmares of people not hearing about God. We need to trust that He is in full control of all things. Do not worry but trust in Him.
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance (2 Peter 3:9)
Secondly, I want to encourage you to learn more about God for yourself. There is so much to learn! Many people will spend their whole lives learning about God and enjoy Him more and more every year. Because God is infinite we will spend eternity learning more and more about his great love for us!
Do you know about what Jesus did for you? He took all the wrong you have ever done and died for it. He took our place on the cross and buried our sin. He then rose again to give new life to all who turn from their sin and follow him. All for free! Not only a new life on earth but the gift of the Holy Spirit and promise of eternal life with God in heaven forever! This is good news! This is the gospel.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:11-12)
Try and find ways to share this amazing story with people whenever you can, wherever you are. People need to hear this message in such hard times. People do need to hear about God you are right.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame" (Romans 10:9-11).
You could even use lookingforGod.com to tell people about God. Give people the website and ask them to check out the video, prayer and even ask a question.We would recommend that you talk to your friends with another person with you who already knows Jesus; a companion who will give you support. Know that Jesus is always with his people when we talk about him.
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ (Romans 10:13-17)
