Ask a questionQ & A
How can I have faith in the weakest times?
Thank you for sharing your personal issue with us. Firstly it is encouraging to hear that you are aware of struggling in weak times. This is a sign that God is at work in you. If God were not working in you, likelihood is you would not care at all about your state.
God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)
- If we have faith in Christ we are IN CHRIST.
- If we have faith in Christ that He is IN US.
We need to believe that these truths are true! We cannot rely solely on our emotions. It is vital that you build your life on the foundations of the truths of Scripture. If you let your emotions control your faith, then you will always be up and down depending on how you feel.
In summary, you need to build the foundation of your faith upon the rock of Christ. He does not change, His word does not change, and if you are a Christian, your status in Christ does not change and He is in you, and that will never change.
You will also find that reading your bible daily, spending time in prayer regularly and meeting with other Christians will help you in knowing that even in our weakest times, Christ is in us and we are with Him.
